A legacy of 100 years

The foundation of KGK group was laid in 1905,100 years from now, with the trading of precious stones in Jaipur and Chennai cities of India.


A new era began for the KGK group in 1969, when the group started the business of diamonds along with precious and semi precious stones.


Following the principal of forward integration, the group moved from color stones to diamonds business and to fine studded jewelry with manufacturing setup in India and China during the course of time. Due to the good reputation of the group, KGK became the sight holder of DTC in the year of 1997.


Today, KGK operates from 18 offices worldwide and deal in everything from Diamonds Manufacturing and wholesaling to Jewelry manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing.


For the Social Cause

We at KGK realize the importance of being part of Society and understand the need of Social benefits for the people who are in need. Keeping up with this philanthropic ideas and having regard to social commitments taken up by our chairman Mr. Navrattan Kothari, the group runs and manages “Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital &Research Center”, the interest in the management of the hospital such that the best of the treatment and other facilities are provided to the lower strata of the society.


Employment generation and education has been major problem in the developing nations, realizing this fact KGK group also runs a school for children and a training center for Diamond manufacturing.


Our Business

The group started diamond operation with diamond trading business in the year 1969 and moved up with the time by beginning the diamond manufacturing activities in 1982.Initially the group was sourcing its rough diamond requirements from Antwerp.


In 1997 KGK became sight holder with the Diamond Trading Company (DTC, marketing wing of De Beers) and started procuring rough directly from London. KGK group has the distinction of continuing the status of sight holder under the supplier of choice scheme of DTC.


Total about six thousands workers are working in various factories located in India, South Africa, Russia and China. The diamonds are cut and polished in-house at state of art manufacturing facilities and are marketed worldwide.



Our Retail Endeavour- Entice

About Entice

Launch of jewelry under the brand name ”Entice” Entice is a registered brand in France, Hong Kong, China and India. KGK will retail jewelry under Entice across various markets in various countries. We have rolled out Entice in China through the shop in shop format, but there are open skies for us for the future.


Why Entice?

KGK has the long history of doing the business of diamonds, color stone and jewelry. This is the fifth generation in the same business.

Objectives

KGK has decided to develop a world-class diamond jewelry retail chain in China which can leverage its existing business platform and achieve potential synergies。


KGK has a version to create value through integration of sourcing of rough diamonds, manufacturing of polished diamonds, design, manufacturing of diamond jewelry and retail selling of premier jewelry。


KGK has gained significant experience and knowledge and pilot entry by opening four retail stores in China in 2004.
